Cleveland Interclub Squash League 2025
Overview
The 2025 Cleveland Interclub Squash League will be contested by 8 teams. Each participating club will enter 2 teams into the league. The competing clubs will be as follows:
Cleveland Racquet Club (CRC)
Cleveland Skating Club (CSC)
Urban Squash Cleveland (USC)
Tavern Club (TC)
Dates
League matches will take place on the following Wednesdays:

April 2 (Finals Night)
Rosters
Each team will have a roster of 8 - 10 players of which 4 will need to play on any given matchday. These rosters will be made up of a “A”, “B” and “C” player. Teams must field at least one player from each skill level in every league match. The goal of this format is to have teams that are made up of players ranging from advanced to beginner players in order to foster more collaboration and relationships across the Cleveland Squash playing community.
Matches
Every team will play 6 regular season matches (3 home matches and 3 away matches - teams won’t play a regular season match against the other team from their club). The intended start time for each match will be 6 pm with the following playing order:

Each individual match will be the best of 5 games and participants are strongly encouraged to support their teammates along with indulging in post match socializing either at the host club or a nearby establishment.
The home team for each match is responsible for sharing the full results including individual game scores by email to CLESquash@gmail.com within 24 hours of the match being completed.

League Scoring
Teams will receive 1 point for every individual match win and so for any given league match it is possible for a team to score 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4 points.
The two teams with the most points at the end of the regular season will qualify for the finals night that will be contested on Wednesday, April 2.
If two teams are tied on the same overall points total then the tiebreakers will be as follows:
Most overall team wins
Best overall games won vs. games lost ratio
Best overall points won vs. points lost ratio

Participation Fee
Each player will pay $25 for each league match they participate in. These match fees will go towards league shirts, admin, prizes and the end of season party during finals night on April 2. Clubs will collect the match fees internally and each club will send a check to Greater Cleveland Squash to cover the league costs.
